Seven Bali tourism events have successfully been included in the 2025 Karisma Event Nusantara (KEN) program, including the Bali Arts Festival (PKB), Pemuteran Bay Festival, Lovina Festival, Penglipuran Village Festival, Semarapura Festival, Nusa Penida Festival, and Ubud Open Studio Festival. This achievement is a source of pride for the Bali Tourism Office, as seven out of nine events that underwent curation were selected, showing an improvement in the quality of Bali’s tourism events compared to last year. PKB even made it into the top 10 of KEN 2025, which will receive promotional and funding support from the Ministry of Tourism.
With KEN’s support, Bali is expected to attract more domestic and international tourists, aiming for 6.5 million international visitors and 10.5 million domestic visitors in 2025. The KEN program aims to preserve regional cultures through festivals, which will also boost local economic growth and enrich Indonesian culture. This success also supports the “Proud to Travel in Indonesia” campaign to encourage Indonesians to travel within the country.
